The complete Dungeon Settlers guide hub
Dungeon Settlers guides: resource farming (clay, gold, food, bone), characters and races, combat, settlement building, dungeons and tips for the colony-sim dungeon-crawler hybrid in Early Access.
Dungeon Settlers is a dark-fantasy strategy game that combines colony simulation with dungeon crawling, developed by CanOpener and now in Steam Early Access. You lead a Guild expedition into the dungeon that is the source of all calamities - and to survive the descent, you first build a settlement on the barren land above.
It is a hardcore strategy loop: train members around equipment, skills and traits, form a party of up to four, and dive into real-time-with-pause tactical combat where death is permanent. Back home, design rooms freely with walls and doors, run a forge, cultivate crops and research new buildings to prepare the next expedition.
Every dungeon is randomly composed - floors, rooms and regions change each run, with rarer resources the deeper you go. Storage matters as much as swords: without a storage building your settlers cannot share resources, and revisiting a cleared floor too often depletes its loot.
This hub collects practical, verified answers: how to get clay, gold, food and bone; how races, traits and the six attributes work; how stabilizing downed friends with an Aid Kit differs from a true permadeath; and how far one torch's hit-chance bonus really goes.
